Freedom of Information
The Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA) requires Scottish public authorities to produce and maintain a publication scheme.
Authorities are under a legal obligation to:
- publish the classes of information that they make routinely available
- tell the public how to access the information and whether information is available free of charge or on payment.
Bòrd na Gàidhlig has adopted the Model Publication Scheme 2011 produced by the Scottish Information Commissioner (SIC). This publication scheme has been approved by the SIC and will remain in force until 31 May 2015.
