The Cleachdi Initiative

Bòrd na Gàidhlig and partners developed the nationwide Cleachdi initiative to help Gaelic speakers and learners to be more visible to one another and to promote the use of Gaelic in public spaces.

As part of the campaign, the Cleachdi website was developed to encourage Gaelic speakers and learners to attend more Gaelic events. The website was built to advertise Gaelic clubs, events and groups and any other opportunity for people to come together and speak Gaelic.

The website is free to use for both individuals looking for events to attend and organisations and groups with events to advertise.
